Guinness Storehouse® Festival 16th - 18th of March
Guinness®, good times and St Patrick’s Day are so intrinsically linked that when you think of one you automatically think of the other. So where better to celebrate Ireland’s patron saint than at the Home of Guinness®, Guinness Storehouse®.
The 2007 celebrations, will kick off at Guinness Storehouse® on Friday March 16th and will continue until the evening of Sunday March 18th with entertainment taking place throughout the weekend.
The venue will vibrate with music, street theatre and marching bands as it plays host to a variety of artists and performances. The “Tradfest Movement” which combines traditional music with rock, jazz, rap and world music takes pride of place in the Gravity® Bar each evening.
The event also magnifies the heavenly match of “Guinness & Food”. Visitors will be able to enjoy complimentary Smoked Salmon on Guinness® Bread whilst having the opportunity to take part in tutored tasting sessions of Guinness® Draught Stout, Guinness® Extra Stout and Guinness® Foreign Extra Stout. In the Arrol Suite, a craft market of Irish products will also showcase a selection of Irish crafts and organic foods.
The Grand Finale act of the festival will take place on Sunday evening, also in the Arrol Suite.
This, the second edition of the Guinness Storehouse® Festival is expected to replicate last year, when over 11,000 visitors joined in the celebrations during St Patrick’s weekend.
